grymmaste (5 posts) Mar-30-12, 04:45 PM (Pacific) "Moving on river styx" 2years or so ago I started playing bane again and got to river styx area. Not sure why I stopped playing but now that I started playing the it again I am stuck in a small room with just some water outside.I think its just north of where I came down from castle so to speak. going through the walkthrough I remembered the sirens wordings so I guess I did that and I also has the key and book of dead so been there,but now I dont have those water wings and notinhg to get me levitate so I am stuck in that room,should I try to level and get the spell that way,any other way to get the water wings or any other way? restarting doesnt sound that fun,I really hated the mines both first time on amiga and second time on dosbox.   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Have you opened all the gates with the Key of Minos? To the north from the landing you can open a gate which leads to the river and there you will find the raft that takes you to the Sirens' Cove where you will receive Water Wings. "RE: Moving on river styx" Blowing the horn at water doesnt summon charron so guess not at my spot, I am not at minos,its a 4square room, a door that leads out to water and nothing more. pretty sure I already been to sirens cavern due to meeting some sirens and had to answer some lines when they sung. think I remember moving around automaticly like if I was on a raft,sorry been 2 years or so now. Have the fishing items and I remember something about finding the spot to fish and I guess that was what I was doing when I stopped . From the amiga playing I rembered something about moving around on a raft and then later I could go about how I wanted but that seems to have bugged out.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Moving on river styx" Hmm... if you answered corrctly to the Sirens, you should have received tha Water Wings, which can then be used as boots.
